  37. Well, y'know, 33600 is the speed that two modems talk to each other,
  38. it isn't the speed of the TTY port.  This isn't about Ultrix, it's
  39. true on anything at all...  Valid RS232 speeds are:
  40.  
  41.     300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200 and 38400
  42.  
  43. Additional speeds which are non-standard, but universally used because
  44. of a quirk in the original IBM PC hardware design are:
  45.  
  46.     57600 and 115200
  47.  
  48. Now, it's probably no surprise to find that your DEC Ultrix machine
  49. doesn't like 33600 as a speed.  It is also unlikely to be very pleased
  50. by 57600 or 115200.  If you are lucky, you just might have support for
  51. 38400, but much DEC hardware didn't support it.  Chances are, the highest
  52. speed your machine will support is 19200.
